    I took screen shots of the problem hopefully they are more clear than my explanation. I’m able to use the motif on voice and multi mode without any of this problem, its only when i try to use the studio manager to get to the editor. If i go into studio manager references-midi settings- and uncheck the midi output port= motif-R XS port 4, the “X” does not occur but if i try to use the studio editor i will get an error message. Hi i’m new to the motif world, and i just purchased the MOTIF XS rack, i have everything connected and configured following the installation for the studio manager and motif xs, my problem is that when i open “"just"” the studio manager window while running logic 9 i get a lot of “"XXXXX"on the midi channel i just recorded, also on the “midi in” signal i get the the “X” switching off and on.
